I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Atmospheric and Climate Sciences at the University of Washington,
where I work with Professors Cecilia Bitz, Dale Durran, and Edward Blanchard-Wrigglesworth.
My research aims to improve climate projections and weather forecasting using machine learning, high performance computing, climate modeling, and data analysis.

Prior to beginning my PhD, I completed a B.S. in Computer Science and an M.S. in Applied Physics at Stanford University. My Masters research (advised by Prof. Aditi Sheshadri) focused on building
a machine learning parameterization of gravity wave drag. Outside of my academic work, you'll find me studying Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, exploring Washington's national parks,
or reading about the clean energy transition.
